Description:
Tunnel (single- and double-track) incl. branch-off structure, connection structure with lengths > 100 m (total length approx. 630 m), 1 smoke extraction structure, emergency gallery with connecting gallery, branch-off structure and crossing structure, emergency access and two intermediate headings, under passing existing buildings and bridges.

Technology:
Excavation by SEM/NATM, excavator in soft ground with shotcrete support and excavation in multiple drift sequences (side-wall drifts) with ground conditioning and pre-support where needed (pipe roofing / pipe arch canopy), partly excavation by drill & blast, cut & cover.

The works (NATM works, profilation works and secondary lining) were executed for ARGE Cannstatt Tunnel, Germany.
